Bal Vatika, the preprimary section of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, is the most bustling part of the campus hosting young minds creatively engaged in their own world of work and play. The air conditioned classrooms are housed in pristine environment, providing natural stimuli for the Holistic development of the children. Integration of technology has become an integral part of our teaching learning processes. Installations of Interactive Panels have made the entire classrooms future ready. The colorful play stations and barrier – free huge play grounds add to the delight of every child.
Early Childhood Years is a period of rapid physical and mental growth. It is widely recognized that the experiences of this period will color a child’s whole approach to learning throughout life. Thus, we follow a development oriented and child centred approach with emphasis on child’s active interaction with the environment, technology, development of skills, concepts and attitudes. Through Experiential learning and integrated approach, children are given every opportunity to develop their full potential appropriate to their age. The pedagogical practices and curriculum at Bal Vatika have been tailored to every child’s needs, interest and capabilities, wherein activities are designed in an innovative way, so as to make the journey of ‘Learning to Learn’ enjoyable for the little ones and develop in them a sustained motivation for school and schooling.
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy is given due prominence in a way that reading, writing, figures and facts follow in the natural rhythm of things.
